Timecodes and markers stay local. Media is never read.

Frame rate, A/B timecodes, and marker lists are parsed into integer frames only on the current page. FrameFence does not read video, audio, EDL, XML, or NLE projects, connect to editing systems, or modify media timelines.

Frame-label arithmetic, not delivery-spec validation

The tool supports the listed 23.976, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94, and 60 fps formats. At 29.97/59.94, DF skips labels at the start of non-tenth minutes, never pictures. Output timecode wraps at 24 hours, negative results are rejected, and marker lists are capped at 1,000 entries. It does not validate project start code, continuity across midnight, VFR, pulldown, audio sample clocks, NLE rounding, caption or broadcast rules, or client delivery conventions.

Marker lists may reveal unreleased program structure

Refreshing or closing discards inputs. CSV contains marker index, timecode, absolute frame, clock seconds, and previous interval; reports and optional local checkpoints read the visible result summary. Chapter, ad-break, and delivery markers may be sensitive, so review them before sharing.

Advertising and local preferences

This page uses Google AdSense Auto Ads. Google may use cookies or similar technologies under its policies. .miluland.com domain cookies sync language, theme, high contrast, a six-item recent-tools list, and up to 16 favorite tool IDs across MiluLand sites. These values never contain inputs, files, or results; the current site also keeps a local compatibility copy.

Local report studio

The report studio reads only the workbench’s currently visible result summary for local preview, Markdown copy, JSON download, printing, and a SHA-256 fingerprint. It never reads input controls or original files and is not persisted unless you choose to download it.

Optional local checkpoints

Only when you explicitly choose Save does the tool write the visible result summary, time, and optional short label to this site’s browser storage, up to five entries. Imported files and input-control contents are never stored; you can export, restore same-tool checkpoints, or clear them at any time. Imports are limited to 128KB and validate the tool, timestamp, summary, and label of up to 80 characters.
